Along with simply playing with playdough with her hands, we got these nifty little gadgets.
I really like the Colorations set, shown above, because the kids’ imaginations go wild as they create different Playdough creatures. It also makes it to where my husband, who DESPISES Playdough, is willing to get in on the action. That is a win in itself!
I also love how the Kiddy Dough set, shown above, lets the kids practice their letter recognition and word formation. Since Rosie is learning her letters, we typically make the letter first with our hands, search for the letter within this set, and then stamp the letter several times. (With Johnny, I use these to get him to create and spell words in a more fun manner than just writing.)
