I Spy (Maggie)

Maggie focused on identifying 5 different nouns that she was able to see and hear around her. She then described the nouns with the appropriate adjectives. We then took a moment to talk about how adjectives make the nouns more detailed, which in turn allows the reader to create a clearer image in his/her head while he/she is reading.

When we noticed that she spelled the word “butterflies” wrong, we then had a mini lesson on singular and plural spellings when words end in “y”.
